On 3 and 4 October 2024, on the sidelines of the Francophonie Summit in Villers-Cotterêts, FrancoTech was held at Station F, the largest Parisian startup campus in the world. The General Secretariat of the Francophonie Summit entrusted its organisation to Business France, in close collaboration with the Alliance des Patronats Francophones (APF).
This show was designed to promote innovation in the French language and create business opportunities, while encouraging economic cooperation between French-speaking countries. During these two days, different themes were highlighted through conferences, workshops and B2B meetings. Participants were able to meet customers, suppliers and partners to present their solutions and discover the latest innovations in the French-speaking world.
The presence of the President of the French Republic, the Prime Minister of Quebec, the President of Vietnam and the Prime Minister of Canada, as well as a large number of ministers from French-speaking countries, marked this event and demonstrated their desire to promote innovation and entrepreneurship within the French-speaking world.
As such, this event significantly fostered exchanges, allowing not only to strengthen Francophone competencies in strategic areas, but also to explore investment and collaboration opportunities, and explore new markets in Francophone countries. FrancoTech is the first in a series of initiatives aimed at developing a modern, innovative, and inclusive Francophone economy while respecting its diversity.
