Colossal Biosciences has an undeniable ability to communicate. A few weeks ago, the American company showed mice with abundant fur, presented as a step towards the resurrection of the gigantic Lanudo. On Monday, April 7, he announced the birth of three wolf puppies described as reincarnations of the direct Wolf (Canis Dirus), a kind of canine that disappeared from the American continent about 13,000 years ago.

According to his statements, Colossal Bioscience biologists managed to “make the extinction something from the past” for an animal that had achieved an almost mythical status thanks to the series game of Thrones. The creator of the series, George Rr Martin, revealed in his blog that he had a leg in knowledge for several months, as an investor and “cultural advisor” of the Texas company. He poses in a photo with one of the two male puppies, Remus or Romulus, “difficult to distinguish.” The only woman, Khaleesi, has been called a protagonist of the series.

Many scientific observers point out that the thesis are not serious real wolves, but gray wolves (Canis lupus), with a few modified genes to give them characteristics of the extinct species: a lighter layer, a height that is 25% larger and, in particular, a thick hair.
