France cuts its growth forecast for 2025 on tariff uncertainty

The French government has reduced its growth forecast by 2025 due to uncertainty about world trade, said Economy Minister on Wednesday, April 9, only a few hours after the president of the United States, Donald Trump, stopped a mass increase in tariffs. The Government had predicted annual or 0.9% growth when presenting its 2025 budget, but Economy Minister Eric Lombard told Tod Top Tof1 that it would cut 0.7%.
