The United States warned on Thursday, April 10, against a false Iranian step after a high -level assistant for the country’s supreme leader threatened to expel UN nuclear inspectors before weekend conversations with the United States. “The threat of that son of action, or course, is inconsistent with Iran’s statements of a peaceful nuclear program,” the spokeswoman for the Tammy Bruce state department spokesman. “In addition, expeling IEA inspectors of Iran would be an escalation and a calculation error by Iran.”

A main advisor to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned early on Thursday that Iran could expel inspectors from the UN Nuclear Control Agency as “threats” multiply before the key conversations with the United States. The comments of the rear admiral Ali Shamkhani were the first of an Iranian official since the president of the United States, Donald Trump, said Wednesday that military action against Iran was “absioned” possible if the conversations could not produce an agreement.

“The continuation of external threats and will be in a state of military attack can lead to deterrent measures, including the expulsion of inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency and the cessation of cooperation,” Shamkhani said about X. “The transfer of materials enriched to safe locations can also be considered,” Hey added.

The United States talks about the opportunity of a peaceful resolution

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will meet with the envoy of the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, in the Sultanate of the Gulf of Oman on Saturday on Saturday in the conversations that Washington has presented as the last opportunity for a peaceful resolution of Western Conerns about Iran’s nuclear program.

Last month, Trump sent a letter to Khamenei, who has the last word in state matters in Iran, asking for direct negotiations but warning about military action if diplomacy fails. “If necessary, absolutely,” Trump told reporters on Wednesday when asked if military action was an option. “If you ask the military, we will have military. Israel will obviously be very involved in that, it will be the leader of ESO.”

Iran has maintained that it is against direct negotiations with its archienemigo, but has left the open for indirect conversations. In 2015, Iran reached a historical nuclear agreement with the main powers that gave it relief of international sanctions in exchange for restrictions on their nuclear activities monitored by UN inspectors.

But in 2018, the duration of Trump’s first mandate in office, the United States withdrew from the agreement and restored the scathing sanctions against Iran. Later, Iran returned to his commitment under the agreement and accelerated his Nits Nits.
