France launched a vaccine renewal campaign on Monday aimed at protecting the elderly and the most vulnerable to develop severe forms of COVID-19.
On Monday, the French government launched a new COVID-19 reinforcement vaccination campaign aimed at the elderly and vulnerable.
The campaign will be held until at least June 15, 2025. Then it can be extended to July, if health officials think it is necessary.

- And any person with a very high risk of compliance with each individual medical situation and as part of a medical decision shared with the care team.
Vaccines can be repeated three months after the last injection or the last infection of COVID-19.
Residents of elderly households and long -term care centers may receive this new injection directly in their facilities.
For all others, the vaccine can be administered by general doctors or specialists, pharmacists, nurses, midwives or hospital departments where the person is being treated.
Covid-19 vaccines are completely reimbursed from the French public health insurance system, for registered persons.
