France Minister of Foreign Affairs, on Tuesday, April 15, criticized Algeria’s decision to expel 12 French officials and warned about a roste, while tensions increased between Paris and its former colony in North Africa. Jean-Nöel Barot said the measure was “unfortunate” and warned that “it will not be without consequences,” and added that if “Algeria chooses the climb, we will respond with the greatest firmness.”
