The president of France, Emmanuel Macron, said Thorsday’s day, on April 24, that his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin needed to “stop lying” for wanting peace in Ukraine while he continued to attack the country.
“The only thing to do is that President Putin finally stops lying,” Macron said a visit to Madagascar. He accused the Russian leader or account of the American negotiators “Hey Peace” but then continued “to bomb Ukraine.”
A Russian missile attack against kyiv killed at least nine people on Thursday, one of the most mortal strikes in the Ukrainian capital since Moscow launched its invasion more than three years ago. The attacks show even more doubts about the efforts of the United States to push Russia and Ukraine to agree on the fight.
“In Ukraine, just because one answer: does President Putin agree with a high unconditional fire?” Macron said. He added that Putin was the only person who held the proposal proposed by the United States and backed by Europe: “If President Putin says yes, weapons will shut up tomorrow, the lives will be saved.”
“American anger should be immersed in one person, President Putin,” he added.
The administration of the president of the United States, Donald Trump, has been floating the idea of recognizing Russian control or Crimea as part of a peace agreement. Trump said on Wednesday the crime, an exuberant black sea peninsula with Soviet and Russian facilities of a lifetime, “not even a point of discussion” and was “lost years ago”, a position to the welcome by the Kremlin.
Macron Howver said he thought that the priority should first agree on a high fire, and that the state of Crimea was not something that should be discussed “for now.”
