I love sustainable skin care. Over the years, I have tried many cruelty brands without cruelty around the world. However, today’s brand is a little closer to home. Natural Edinburgh Skincare Co. has its headquarters in Scotland, and all its products are also handmade in Scotland. With credentials without cruelty, natural and ecological, I had to try them! Here are my thoughts about the brand and five products from your range …
Who is the Skincare Co. Natural Edinburgh?
The Natural Edinburgh Skincare Co. was founded in 2010 by Tommy Crooks. It was originally called Edimburg Natural Soap Co., but then became a broader range of skin care products, so the name evolved. The brand is based in Edinburgh, Scotland, and has two independent stores in the city.
Natural Edinburgh Skincare Co. has four brand values that apply to all its products:
- Without cruelty
- Natural ingredients
- Handmade in Scotland
- Ecological packaging
Today, the brand has a wide range of skin care, bathing, body and adequate hair care for all genres. Almost all products come in its range of exclusive botanical aromas, which include:
- Eternal: Oud, Amber, Floral Attars
- Golden Rosewood: Rosemary, Red Mandarin, French Province Lavender
- Luxury No. 1: French lavender, incense, rose geranium
- Reverie: Rose, Amber, Old
- ST CLEMENTS: Sweet orange, lemon, Lima

Organic Hemp Oil Cleaner
The first step in my skin care routine is always a cleaner. For this review, I chose the super cleaner of organic hemp seed oil Virgin, for which he intrigued me. Oil cleaners deserve more recognition: they are excellent for cutting dirt and makeup, they are often made with natural ingredients, such as this.
Up close, this cleaner is a bit more cloudy than it is shown, but has a lovely rose aroma. Always clean with a facial cloth, and this oil cleaner works well both to clean the skin and to remove makeup. It is also soft enough for double cleaning. I would find the hemth of half dropper cleaner every time, enough to cover the face slightly. This is one of my favorite products of the natural Edinburgh Skincare Co., and I think it also has a very reasonable price.
Eternal face cream
The first thing that will notice with eternal face cream with black lilac and vitamin E is its beautiful aroma. The Amber extract (presented in all products with the ‘eternal’ aroma) is so luxurious. It is good to move from the clean oil cleaner to this facial cream.
I have a fairly dehydrated skin, so I am always looking for deeply moisturizing facial creams. This is the half weight, and due to the base of the karité butter, it takes a bit to sink into the skin. Since I used this product, I started reserving it for sleeping time, along with my usual retinoid products and sera, so that I can give it more time to absorb.
I will add that personally, I do not like when the products promote the anti -aging (because an aging is not bad!) What I can say is that the facial cream is super, as described!
Solid bath oils
I love a good bath and I am always looking for sustainable bath products to use. Edinburgh Natural Skincare Co. Manufactures beautiful solid bath oils, handmade, which I chose to try the aroma of orange and sweet geranium. These little love hearts are made with a cocoa butter base, essential oils and a few dry rose petals so that the bath time is a little prettier. I enjoyed thesis and think they would be a great gift.
Beaten body butter
The moisturizer is my favorite step of my skin care routine, and the same goes for the body’s moisturizers. Applying the luxury body butter of St Clements gives me the same luxury feeling. With a karité butter base, coconut oil and palm oil certified by RSPO, this beaten body butter is excellent for hydrating my skin. Like the rest of Edimburgh Natural Skincare Co. products, first requires some heating first, which is also better with a little pressure. The fresh and citrus aroma makes me think of the summer, and according to my use, it will probably also last until summer!
Solid hand cream bar
Now in the show star: the luxury cream bar n. ° 1. While the natural Edinburgh Skincare Co. began as a soap company, I think it is its hand cream bars that shine! Use Hand cream several times a day due to having dry skin, and this bar has become an essential instant bag. With a bee wax base and cocoa butter, and natural essential oils for the aroma, it is a simple product that only works. A little helps a lot with this bar, and you just need to heat the bar in your hands for a few seconds before we can rub it. I chose to try the luxury aroma n. ° 1, which smells like clean lavender and warm incense.
I have previously reviewed a beauty number or products without water, and I need to add this to the list! As a solid cosmetic that comfort in its own geusable can, it is also ideal for traveling.
My General Qualification of Edinburgh Natural Skincare Co.: 9/10
I have really enjoyed getting to know the Natural Skin Care Company of Edinburgh. Its products are beautifully made, with simple and natural ingredients, and also smell beautiful. The most prominent products of this review are the hemp oil cleaner and the beaten body butter, which feel like a real pleasure to use, and also have a quite price.
Since almost all products have a karité butter base or bee wax, they take a little time to use. I imagine that this will be reduced slightly when summer arrives, but nevertheless, they are effective once heated!
The vast majority of the range is excellent gifts, and also offer gift sets. I think it may be time to visit Edinburgh again and place their stores in my guide to the best sustainable places in Edinburgh!
