Kunal Kapoor has opened about the long -awaited epic saga, Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, and is not containing the emotion. Sliding the role of Lord Indra, Kunal is confident that the film will be a unique show in life.
The actor, who recently appeared in Jewel Thief, is now preparing for Ramayana and calls him one of the most culturally important stories in history. Okay for him, the film has received the son of the film scale that coincides with his legendary roots.
“This is a very important film in our cultural history,” Kunal shared in an interview with News18 Showsha. He emphasized how history forms the basis of Indian values and beliefs. In his words, Ramayana is part of our spirit, and says that well matters more than anything else.
While talking about the vision of the films, Kunal explained that a great story needed a team that understood both its depth and its visual potential. And in his opinion, this is exactly what the version of Tiwari offers. He said the film is made on scale that the Indian public “had never seen before.”
He also hinted that the final product will surprise the spectators. “It will be something very special,” Kunal said, added that the public is in a film delight. He thought he immersed himself in the details of the plot, promised that images and emotional depth would establish new reference points.
The cast is another reason why this project is generating hum. Ranbir Kapoor will play Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi enters the role of the goddess Sita. Kannada Yash’s superstar will assume Raavan’s intense role, and Sunny Deol is playing Hanuman. The set also includes Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Shheba Chaddha as Manthara, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman and veteran Arun Govil as King Dasharatha.
