It has a perfect start for 2025 here in the foothills; We had a great snow that fell on the mountains and skiing stations just before the Christmas holidays and, since then, it has the sun of the wall of the leg and the blue skies with frozen mornings and light and bright days.
The real estate market is still very quiet, but there are signs that things are warming up and I hope we start seeing some new new properties that go on sale. In terms of prices, property in southwest France still repeats a fantastic value and the best quality of life that is likely to find (OK, I am at the base) that is affordable and accessible.
As for New Year resolutions, mine will be lost more. I already miss a lot in the visits, particularly when I have a list of properties to see in different locations with vague addresses (the instructions of many French agents tend to limit themselves to ‘passing through itself, I have not lost less.
