In the midst of this, the actor revealed whether his older brother Shahid Kapoor was a “strict critic” or his work. His answer is a sweet vision or his bond between brothers.
In a recent interview with NDTV, Ishaan Khatter shared a beautiful advice he recovered from his brother Shahid Kapoor. The letter advised him: “Be the sun, be the source yourself. Do not try to discover that that shines from another person. Just your person and trust what you are bringing to the table.” Then, Shahid encouraged Ishaan to be himself and trust what he brings.
When asked if Shahid had a strict critic or if he had no defect to point out, Ishaan explained that Shahid has not always “appreciative.” He said that Shahid’s praise meant a lot to him because he is genuine. Ishaan added that the Haider actor has also been honest, giving positive and negative comments from the beginning.
Meanwhile, Ishaan Khatter’s recent project, the real ones can be transmitted in Netflix. He was released on May 9, 2025. He plays the role of Aviraaj Singh, a prince. The Royal Romantic Comedy marks its first collaboration with Bhumi Pednekar, who portrays Sophia Shekhar, a businesswoman.
The royalty is directed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Ashana. It is produced under the banner of Pritish Nandy communications. Zeenat Aman, Sakshi Tanwar, Chunky Panday, Vihaan Samat, Nora Fatehi, Dino Morea, Milind Soman, Kavya Trehan, Sumukhi Suresh, Udit Arora, Lisa Mishra and Luke Kenny are also part of the cast.
Then, Ishaan will go to the French Riviera for the homebound premiere at the 78th Cannes Film Festival. It will be a hero on May 21. On the other hand, Shahid Kapoor is currently busy filming for his film without a title with director Vishal Bhardwaj.
