Yorkshire captain, Jonny Bairstow, has joined the Mumbai Indians as a replacement player for the Play-offs of the Indian Premier League.
The 35 -year -old aggression will be lost the next county championship match against Nottinghamshire and possible the first two games of Vitality Blast, depending on the Indians’ fee in the competition.
The measure comes with the second Yorkshire fund of the classification of the championship after its entrances and a defeat of 128 races against the Surrey champion.
Bairstow replaces Compatriot Will Jacks, who will leave after the final game of the League to join the England team for the white ball series next month against the Western Indies.
Mumbai, which is fourth in the IPL classification after 12 games, but is not yet sure of a play-off place, has also added the former sailor of England T20 Richard Gresleson and Charith Asalanka de Sri Lanka to his team, with Jame and Bosche Bosche Bosche Bosche Bosche Bosche.
Gavin Hamilton, general manager of Cricket from Yorkshire, said on the club’s website: “While it is naturally disappointing to lose Jonny over the next few weeks, the opportunity to play in the final stages of the IPL at this stage of his career is huge.
“Jonny has been open with us about his desire to play at the IPL since our first conversation with him, and we would like to wish him the best of luck in the next week.
“We hope to welcome the first internships of our Blast vitality campaign.”
