Thunderbolts of Marvel Studios has overcome the eternal at the United States box office, marking a significant milestone during the weekend of the Fallen Day. With a current national total of USD 171.4 million, the superhero film of the team has exceeded the USD 164.9 million for the gross life of the Eternals despite a warning fall in the theater count and the fierce competition of the new releases.
Now marketed as the new Avengers after a developer after credit, Thunderbolts won USD 9.2 million in its fourth weekend of 3 days. The action film led by Florence Pugh fell 44.8 percent since the previous weekend, with a loss of 780 theaters on Friday in the middle of a full summer box office. The next weekend, the film is expected to exceed the totals of the United States of Captain America: the first Avenger and Thor, which won USD 176.7 million and USD 181 million, respectively, consolidating its success titles of MCU.
