Katie Moon wins in Rabat

Regular readers will know that I am a fan of Katie Moon. Sheet He is a great posts of post a world and Olympic champion and a person who is always happy to speak. She is American but her husband is British, so she deserves at least half of the grades.

She has had a good start for 2025, competed four times indoors and registered four victories. 4.80 in Manhattan, 4.82 in Millrose, 4.83 in Lievin, France and 4.80 in the USA. She was second in Doha with 4.63. Then in Rabat it was another victory with 4.73.

She said about the performance in Rabat: “It was a little better than in Doha. We are still training my time and trying to compete. We build fatigue, but honestly it is good and I felt better than in tea. Focused and uploaded and to do. Dooy or Coudue it it doy or coudated it I do or coudused IMORED DAY O COUD Very good. But today I had some really good jumps and I am executing better than ever in the competition. I will take it because it means that the highest heights are waiting. There are so many variables and more competition rhythm is needed to return to him. I will go home for the next few weeks because or how long the season lasts. I want to break it, I will return to Paris and probably London Diamond Leagues. We are going to space it, strategically. But I am excited to return home and be with my puppy and my husband. ” [ in that order?]

Katie has had a great career. The first championship in which I saw it was the world of 2018 indoors when I was 5 years oldTh Behind Sandi Morris (4.95) Anzhelika Sidirova and Aikaterina Stefanidi, the three who dominated the vault of women’s poles in that period. She was the seventh in the 2019 worlds with medals again to Morris, Sidirova and Stefanidi.

The 2021 Olympic Games saw a world order change with Katie winning Olympic gold, followed by the second in the world of 2022 indoors and first Place in the world (outdoors) Championships. 2023 saw its joint world champion with Nina Kennedy and then in the Olympic Games in Paris another silver medal. She had become the dominant jumper.

Earl this year he told him I was letting the future happen! “I am Absolutely Going Through This Year. The Tentative Goal Is That I Wolde Love To Be a AT A Home Olympics (2028), But I Just Don’t Know What My Body Feel Like. Basically, Yes, Id Love By and Just It and It and It It It and it It Yeaw and It It and It Yare and It Year and It It and Itear and Iting and Iting and Iting Bying and Iting Bying and Iting Bying and Iting Iting and Iting Iting and Iting and Iting Iting and Iting and Iting and Iting are Iting and Iting.

Katie now has its headquarters in Tulsa, working full time with her husband, Hugo. She is still trained by Brad Walker, but remotely. “I will work with Brad until I retire. So you are still writing all my training plans. It is still much more, but you reach a point in the pole jump where we are no longer trying to reinvent the wheel. I love it.

Wait for her in some more podiums before she calls time.
