Without our officials, the performance is not recorded (photo of Bobby Gavin in Pitreeavie on Sunday)

From time to time we are asked what our line of label is #Saltogether Real media in terms of the delivery of our sport.
There was no better example than last weekend and 4J district champions.
Events in three places tests and stretching ScottishAthletics as a personnel team, but, more importantly, the excellent voluntary workforce that are our qualified officials.
So we needed help to deliver events in the east (in Dunfermline), West (in Kilmarnock) and the north (in Invertity).
After our appeals, and with great support from three host clubs in Pitreeavie AAC, Kilmarnock Harriers and Inverness Harriers, we were delighted to receive a series of offers of assistance from parents and club assistants.

Even beyond our officials, of course, sport occurs only thanks to the great volunteer coaches while helping to guide athletes.
With events (largely) for age groups U17/U15/U13 last weekend, that aid for athletes along the way was very evidence in each of the three places.
And there are the people of the club involved in a wide range of aspects, including trips with island clubs such as Stornoway, Orkney and Shetland, who do the travel event to North in Inverness.
Everywhere that you tour this weekend there were service volunteers, such as Mhairi Ballantyne of our youth forum (and Kilmarnock Harriers) enjoying his period as a broadcaster in West districts.
We had help with the northern photos from Kellie Main or Nairn Aaac while Bobby Gavin – Who on the weekends operates as a volunteer, made a great shift in the West on Saturday and then headed east on Sunday.
