SkiN Preparation Guide: How to better prepare your skin
Do you have a photo shoot and want to look perfect? Do you seek to improve the texture of your skin and your skin and makeup will shine? Here is a skin preparation guide step by step everything you need to buy prepare your skin before a makeup application!
The first thing is the first, let me let yourself in the secret of impeccable and bright makeup … Clean the hydrated skin! Yes, it’s that simple.
Now allow me to press this publication saying that I am not a dermatologist, so if you have skin problems and you are not sure of any of the following products, consult a doctor or dermatologist. These products are quite soft, so it must be fine, but each type of skin is different.
Take care of your face and prepare the preparation of clean skin before your makeup application will change the way your makeup is seen (and feel)! In this skin preparation guide, I will share some of my favorite products that I use the skin of my customers, and mine, before applying any makeup. I will only include some of my favorite French beauty products that are finally) available for purchase in the US, such as Bioderma, Caudalie, La Roche Posay and Embolisse. Now, I will not preach on a 15 -scooter skin preparation routine, because honestly, who has time for that? Everything you really need is a good cleaner, moisturizer, sunscreen and for the care of weekly self -care (Yay!) In the form of exfoliation and facial masks. It really is as simple as that.
When I explain the importance of caring for your skin, this is the example that I tell all my clients: imagine that you are a painter and you have a canvas in front of you. If your canvas has leftover patches or three painted about it, whatever you are going to paint, you won, you want you to want. If your canvas is clean and soft, your painting will look as you tried. Your face is your canvas for makeup. We want our canvases to be soft and clean. If you have makeup of the previous night or dry patches because it did not moisturize, it will be shown in your makeup.
Step 1 – Makeup extraction
This step is very important! Remove your makeup every night before bedtime is essential.
Bioderma micellar water is my favorite makeup remover. You will find it at the table of each makeup artist in Paris.
If you are in a hurry, Bioderma makeup towels are an excellent option.
Here are the wipes for dehydrated skin and for combined/fat skin.
The good thing about Bioderma is that they have products for all skin types! In general, the sensitive skin collection is red, blue for dry/normal skin for combined/fat skin.
Step 2: Cleaning
After removing makeup, your face should be washed with a face cleaner. This eliminates any excess of dirt and oils that its pocking did not eliminate.
I love using the sensibly bioderma foam gel because it takes my makeup and cleans my skin and at the same time. I love a product 2 in 1 and this step eliminates the use of cotton cotton, which is a sustainable advantage!
Step 3 and 4: Self -care – Exfoliation and facial masks
These two steps do not need to be done every day, but even making them once or twice a week will make a difference in the texture of their skin and, ultimately, in their makeup application. I like to do a moment of self -care with these two steps. I love doing it on a Sunday, for example, as part of a restart on Sunday. I will take a hot shower, I will usually wash my hair (why not make a hair mask while you do?). I will use my bioderma cleaner to clean my face and then follow it with a soft exfoliation. You do not want too aggressive, even if you have acne or fat skin, because the exfoliation will have the opposite effect of what we really are because.
Making this step in the shower is good because hot steam helps to delay its pores and easier can get rid of impurities. Once you are out and you have three free, it’s time for a mask. Now, you can make a sheet mask or a cream mask. I prefer to stay away from anything too aggressive (take off masks, for example), so I opt for something that will nurture my skin.
I will usually turn on a candle or two, sometimes I will meditate or simply listen to music or see a duration of the program 15 minutes that the mask is settling in my skin. My skin always feels so soft and later. Usually, I try to have the moment of self -care in the event or at a time when I know that I won to make up immediately so that my skin can rest and restart.
Making a ritual with these skin care steps can help you relax during the week and encourage you to take some teeth. Besides, it really adds shine to your skin!

Erborian BB Shot Mask – My favorite sheet mask of all time! Hot advice: Place the mask in the sleeve for a second use. There is enough product for two applications!
The trader joe moisturizing biocellulose leaf mask: this is an excellent option!
Step 5: Toner/Facial Mission
I love a moisturizing facial fog! I use them as tóers. Now, depending on its skin type, you may need more or a type of astringent toner, but today I will tell you about moisturizing mists. I love to spray the client’s faces before applying the moisturizer or primer and, not only to his skin loves, but also feels so good! These are some of my references:

Mario Badescu facial aerosols: My favorites are the rose and orange flower. I love to wear the mini bottles with me in airplanes, it is really very refreshing after a long flight.

Step 6: Hema Moisturizer/Sun Protector
Now that he has done everything possible to clean and eliminate impurities, it is time to enclose everything with a moisturizer, and in the morning, a sunscreen!
The cream you choose can vary according to what you need, if you want any other active ingredient for anti-Dag, pigmentation, etc. All I can say is to make sure that you are adequately nourishing your skin and that your skin does not feel after the tight after. You can apply a sunscreen above your moisturizer or find a sunscreen that is moisturizing enough so you don’t have to do it.
Embryolisse Lait-Creeme concenté -my favorite product of all time to use in customers. It is a large moisturizer and makeup primer. You can use it as a duration of the facial mask, your personal care moment!
WELEDA SKIN FOOD NIGHT Cream – honestly, I love everything in the skin food collection
La Roche-Posay dye protection, it also exists in a non-dyed version, this is one of the best sunscreens in the market and won your eyes!
Now, obviously, each type of skin is different and it is possible that you need some that I have recommended here. That said, if you follow these steps with products that are adapted for you, you will achieve the same result: soft and nourished skin with a lot of brightness. This means that your makeup will continue and mix more easily, you will have to use less products and your brightness will be completely natural.
