With a positive word from mouth to mouth and solid delays on the day of the week, Bloodlines continues to exceed expectations and is now looking at a final national race in the USD 125-135 million range.
The film will also surpass Alien: Romulus (USD 105.3M) to become the ninth launch of horror after the highest covid in the United States and will soon enter the 30 horror films of all time nationwide. Final destination worldwide: Bloodlines has raised USD 192.8 million, which makes it not only the highest grossing entrance of the series, but also the best reviewed, receiving generally positive comments from fans and critics.
Directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, Bloodlines is based on a story of Jon Watts and presents a script by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor. Kaitlyn Santa Juana leads the cast as a university student tormented by visions of a tragedy inherited from her grandmother. As death begins to drag mysteriously near his family, he must unravel the mystery behind the premonition to change the destiny. The cast also includes Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger and veteran of the Tony Todd franchise.
Initially scheduled for a transmission launch in HBO Max, the images of Warner Bros. turned to a theatrical deployment after delays caused by the SAG-AFTRA attack. The filming wrapped in Vancouver in May 2024, and the film greeted the public in theaters on May 16.
