Bollywood’s veteran actor, Mumtaz, has made it clear that he was taking the role of Shah Rukh Khan’s mother in any movie. In a recent interview, the 77 -year -old actress explained that she has a personal rule: she will only play a mother with actors at least 20 years younger than her.
Shah Rukh Khan, who turns 60 this year, once revealed that his first crush was Mumtaz. While the answer to this old comment, Mumtaz recognized him, saying that he could have said it joke. But when asked if he would be open to play his mother on the screen, she firmly said no.
In statements to the journalist Vickey Lalwani, Mumtaz said: “I will only play a mother with an actor who is 20 years younger than me, and that also looks good on the screen.” He pointed out that he reached an early age and that only his children in real life do not see much young people than her. For her, appearance plays an important role in the choice of roles at this stage of her life.
When asked why he would not consider playing Shah Rukh’s mother, like Jaya Bachchan, he has done it before, Mumtaz said: “That is Jaya’s decision.” She added with a smile: “Tell Shah to work with him if I might really seem. But he will say no. Why should gray hair have?”
Despite joking about Shah Rukh’s probable response, Mumtaz had nothing more than kind words for the actor. “He is very intelligent, very intelligent and a lovely person. Just because he likes it does not mean that he has chosen if I don’t look at the part.”
Mumtaz also expressed his admiration for Hollywood Jane Fonda’s legend, partly his mother -in -law. He described the character of Fonda as elegant and strong, noting that he would be open to playing similar roles, glamorous, well dressed and with a strong personality. “His character did not do it because accepting a girl who was ‘Gareb’ (poor). He had the freedom to look and dress in the way he wanted. That is something that also,” Mumtaz said.
Approximately a decade ago, Shah Rukh had shared a duration of a press event that his first two loves were Mumta and Saira Bano, calling them the most beautiful women in the world.
