Delphine Arnault, CEO of Dior and a rising force within LVMH, has unveiled a bold new chapter in the luxury group’s future — the launch of an AI-powered Fashion Innovation Lab in Paris designed to blend couture with cutting-edge technology.
The lab, named “Atelier Intelligence”, will serve as a high-tech creative studio using AI tools to predict fashion trends, automate design iterations, enhance personalization, and optimize global supply chains.
“Luxury is no longer just about heritage; it’s about vision,” said Arnault. “We’re harnessing technology not to replace creativity, but to push it into new dimensions.”
The lab will collaborate with designers, engineers, and data scientists from LVMH’s 75 maisons, including Louis Vuitton, Fendi, and Givenchy. In addition, the company announced a partnership with French tech unicorn Mistral AI to develop proprietary design algorithms tailored to luxury aesthetics.
This move marks LVMH’s most significant investment in digital fashion to date, signaling a future where AI and human artisanship co-create haute couture. Market analysts expect the strategy to drive both brand loyalty and operational efficiency in an industry increasingly shaped by technology and personalization.
