Apple announced radical changes in its products on Monday, the first day of its annual world developer conference (WWDC).
Normally, the iPhone manufacturer confirmed the rumors that he is changing how he names his software updates. Instead of using a version number, Apple will use a system with a number that repeats the year after the launch of the update. The next Apple update will be iOS 26, arriving in autumn for most Apple users.
The change of names applies to all Apple products. For example, the next update of the iPad will be appointed iPados 26, and the next MacBook update will be called Macos 26.

Apple announced other changes, such as a new design and characteristics of AI. The company has put all the new functions available for the tests from Monday through the Apple developer program, with a public beta version that will be launched next month and a broader update that this fall is implemented.
“We continually advance each of our platforms with more ways to take advantage of Apple’s intelligence power, as well as a new and beautiful design, the experiences of our products become even more perfect and pleasant,” said Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, Duration The Event Keynote.
Here are some new interesting capabilities that Apple debuted on Monday.
1. A new design with liquid glass
Apple made its largest design update in history, with a new design element called Liquid Glass. The translucent element, which Apple used to create new buttons, switches, eyelash bars and notifications in its products, looks like glass on the screen and acquires the color of its surroundings.
“This is our broader software design update,” said Alan Dye, Apple human interface design vice president, in a press release. “It combines the optical qualities of the glass with a fluidity that only Apple can achieve, since it is transformed according to its content or context.”
Apple has components of liquid glass integrated into its redesign, including translucent menus that respond to the perspective of a screen user and a new lock screen with liquid glass time.

2. The live translation will be integrated into the iPhone
Apple is bringing the live translation to messages, facetime and telephone to translate text and audio messages on the spot. AI function is backed by AI models built by Apple that run completely locally, so personal conversations never get on the cloud.
Live translation means that users can speak with each other in different languages and make the translation appear on the screen in real time. For example, when a user receives an iMessage in another language, he can opt for that message to translate to his favorite language. In Facetime, a user can listen to some speak in another language while continuing with translated live subtitles.

3. Visual intelligence becomes more acute
Apple is bringing more abilities to the avant -garde with visual intelligence. Users can take advantage of their iPhone cameras and use what they see to ask chatgpt questions. You can also search on Google or Eetsy to find products similar to what they are seeing.
Visual Intelligence also recognizes when a user is looking at a poster from an event and can extract the data to add as an event in their calendar.

4. Buddy Training at Apple Watch
Apple is adding an AI training partner to Apple Watch called Workout Buddy.
The training friend considers metrics traced by Apple Watch, such as heart rate, rhythm, distance and previous training, and take advantage of this knowledge to motivate users the duration with the verbal stimulus.
For example, when a user begins his execution, the training friend could say: “Great work starting his career. This is his second career this week.”
The training partner cannot be used for the types of training such as the inner race and the outdoor cycle.
