Ethiopia’s Hirpa and Kenya’s Biwott triumph at Paris Marathon

The Ethiopian corridor Bedatu Hirpa won an exciting marathon from Paris in Paris on Sunday, April 13, while Kenyan Benard Biwott beat a comfortable victory in the male event.

In cold conditions, Hirpa, 25, was firm in the final meters of the race to overcome the compatriot Dera Dida to win only four seconds in 2 hours and 20 minutes 45 seconds. It was the second marathon of the year of Hirpa, after his victory in Dubai in mid -January when he beat Dida in a similar end. Kenya’s broker, Angela Tanui, finished third at 2:21:07.

Biwott also claimed his second victory at a distance, dropping all his rivals with 10 kilometers to run and end at 2:05:25, a new better staff.
