A trio of French railway unions has strike warnings for the month of May, and everyone is aimed at one or more of the three holiday weekends of the month, usually an hour peak for train trips.

Mechanics and technicians have presented a 48 -hour strike notice from Tuesday, May 6.
Drivers’ Union CGT Cheminots has presented an open strike notice as of Wednesday, May 7.
South-Rail, which represents drivers, plans action between Thorsday, May 8 and Saturday, May 10.
Riel of Sud Préavis de Grève On weekends covered from April 17 to June 2, which means that members can leave at any time after 7 pm every Thursday at 8 am from the following Monday, the strike notification period.

Important news for Eurostar travelers: The Central Station of Colonia in Germany will be completely closed to Eurostar traffic between May 3 and 18.
Airplanes
So far, there is no news of strikes at the exit, and several new flight routes that come into service to and from the airports throughout France as the summer season takes off.

From May to September, United offers four 10 -hour flights per week, between Dulles Airport in Washington DC and Nice. Flights work on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
American Airlines sacrifices a flight per day from Philadelphia to the coast of Azur between May and October.
From May to September, Delta operates daily flights of 10 hours and 15 minutes between Niza and Atlanta, Georgia.

Air France begins a new direct route that connects Paris Charles de Gaulle with Saudi Arabia as of May 19; and will operate four direct flights per week between Charles de Gaulle and Orlando, USA, as of May 21.

The carrier has also presented direct flights between Los Angeles and Niza in May 2025 for the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix.
Meanwhile, Ryanair will offer flights three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, between La Rochelle and Dublin, as of May 1.
Easyjet will operate three flights per week between Lyon and Bari, Italy, as of May 23.
The Spanish budget airline Volotea will offer flights from Paris Orly to the Italian cities of Genoa, Olbia and Turin from May 26; already anchon since May 27. These will replace existing flights from Charles de Gaulle.
This begins on April 30, but it is worth mentioning here that the newly arrived low cost French Bee will operate four flights per week between Paris Orly and Montreal-Rising five times a week in the summer.
Odyssey Airlines, meanwhile, will be sacrificed between Nimes and Ajaccio, from May 31, and between Nimes and Barcelona, from May 29, from Nimes to Verona, Nîmes to Milan and Nîmes to Nice from May 30.

The most detailed information is not available until now. But, the heaviest traffic forecast is also forecast for Sunday, May 4, Wednesday, May 7, Thursday, May 8 and Sunday, May 11.
A yellow alert, ‘difficult’ conditions on the roads, is in its place for Sunday, May 4, with Bison Futé urging the road users that return to the main cities from holiday destinations to:
- Reach or cross the île-de-france region before 11 am
- Avoid A13 between Caen and Paris from 1pm to 10 pm;
- Avoid A11 between Nantes and Angers from 3pm to 7pm;
- Avoid A10 between burgundy and tours from 1pm to 6pm;
- Avoid A9 between Narbonne and Orange from 2pm to 7pm;
- Avoid A8 between Italy and Aix-en-Provence from 12 o’clock to 7pm;
- Avoid A7 between Orange and Lyon from 2pm to 9pm;
- Avoid A61 between Narbonne and Toulouse from 2pm to 7pm.
A second yellow alert, which rises red in the Auverne-Rhône-Alpes, is in its place for Wednesday, May 7. Motorists are recommended to go on vacation or breaks:
- Leave or cross the île-de-France region before 2 pm;
- Avoid A25 between Lille and Socx from 5 pm to 8pm;
- Avoid A13 between rouen and fall from 4pm to 7pm;
- Avoid A11 between Angers and Nantes from 2pm to 8pm;
- Avoid A10 between tours and poitiers from 12 long to 7 pm;
- Avoid A7 between Lyon and Orange from 3pm to 10pm;
- Avoid the A8 between Le Luc and Italy from 3pm to 6pm;
- Avoid the A46 and N346 road for the Eastern Lyon Bypass from 5pm to 7pm.
A partial yellow alert is forecast, a bar in the Northwest neighborhood and a band that is directed southeast to Auverne-Rhône-Alpes, for Thursday, May 8. Motorists are recommended:
- Avoid A13 between rouen and fall from 10 am to 1 pm
- Avoid A11 between Chartres and Nantes from 10 am to 12 of the days;
- Avoid A7 between Lyon and Orange from 9 am to 2 pm;
- Avoid the Mont-Blanc tunnel (N205) in the direction of Italy, from 9 am to 12 long.

And, on Sunday, May 11, a national yellow alert to red alert in the Southeast neighborhood already throughout the Mediterranean arch is in place for the country’s roads. The Bison Fut advice for motorists is:
