A quick publication today to report that the Barn Rofing project is finally complete! He has nine weeks -to -end tasks, or what were three inactivity time (Christmas and a worker’s disease). The barn now has a new and bright roof, the Lucarne (Dormer) is straight and stagnant, and the gutter is installed.
The men took the stops this week to finish the work. Sometimes they worked in a terrible climate. On Tuesday it rained in cubes, and it was also windy, but they continued stubbornly.
Below are some images of before and after, clearly showing the transformation. This is probably the most pointed barn on the planet, but I will share only a few images.
Fortunately, the weather has been fine during the last two days, so the final touches could be the crest tiles. They explained that they could not do this in the rain, since the mortar is simply washed.
Below is how the front was seen at the beginning and how it looks now. The casualties are not beauty things, but they are necessary to channel rainwater away from the walls and doors. Maybe we can paint or grow them.

Now, the scaffolding is gone, and they have clarified after a fashion. Concrete patches still cover the grass out of the barn, and there are many arrangements to make inside and on the back.

The crane remains for the moment. As the leg has, so the law, the men said they did not do it because to move it until the ground has three outside. It is such a heavy element, and the slices of caterpillar would destroy our grass. The forecast is for dry climate for a while, so I hope it will go in a week. It will be interesting to see how they dismantle and bend it.
So that is the end of a house project, but there is always more.
