Chris Eank JR and Conor Benn should agree on a higher weight limit for a rematch, says promoter Ben Shalom.
Eubank and Benn with an exciting clash in the Tottenham Hotspur stage in April, with Euank winning by unanimous decision.
Eubank lost the limit of 160 pounds in the weighing and a rehydration clause meant that it could not climb more than 170 pounds in the morning of the fight.
Shalom, Eank’s promoter, believes that a rematch must be disputed with high weight. “The rehydration clause is probably less dangerous than the limit of 160 pounds now at this stage of his career,” Shalom told Sky Sports.
“That’s where it is likely to be the greatest challenge. As the organizers of the event, everyone must be sensitive to how we address the second fight. That was the only one in the event, everything that is discussed about the weight.
