On May 17, 2025 he marked an occasion he had already played in his head during his childhood. So, although significant, it was a shock.
“I have a bone dreaming of playing at that level and doing things like that since I was young, so I’ve seen that happened in my head for years.
“For me, it is only the manifestation of something that is in my mind, something for what I am praying.
“I am likely not as surprised as everyone else, but, of course, I am grateful that God has the opportunity to be in that position.
“To be able to do that and bring a trophy to southern London, that is the most important thing, something that the club has before, a trophy. So to be part of the team that has done that, I hardly have words.”
