Founded in 2005 as an environmental newspaper based in Ohio, Ecowatch is a digital platform dedicated to publishing quality, content based on science in environmental problems, causes and solutions.

Almost all the newly built houses in the United Kingdom must install solar panels on the roof roof under the new net plans of the Labor Government.

Solar panels must be installed in most new houses within two years after the start of construction, The Guardian reported.

“We have always cleaned the legs that we want solar panels in as many new houses as possible because they are a vital technology to help invoices for families, boost our national energy security and help deliver zero orderly,” said a government spokesman. “Through the Future Homes standard, we plan to maximize the installation of solar panels in new houses as part of our ambition to ensure that all new houses are efficient energetically, and will establish the final plans in due time.”

The new policy would add add approximately $ 4,400 to $ 5,300 to the cost of building a new house, but resulting in a saving of $ 1,300 per year in the energy invoices of the house owners, The Times reported.

The Labor Party aims to build a million and a half homes before the end of the current Parliament session, The Guardian reported. The party has pledged to reduce home energy invoices by almost $ 400 a year while decarbonizing the electricity grid at the end of the decade.

Meanwhile, ministers are preparing to sacrifice loans and subsidies financed by the government for solar panel facilities in existing houses.

The sixty percent of the new houses in the United Kingdom are currently not equipped with solar roof panels, Renewable Energy magazine reported.

To meet the green objectives of the United Kingdom, the Local Government Association (LGA) has recommended that all new houses that have installed solar panels on the roof be required. The recommendation, established in a new report of the organization, is part of several policy and financing interventions aimed at increasing modernization, legislative and finance changes.

The Government has not specified exactly when the new requirements of the Solar Panel will enter into force, but, based on the comments of the officials in previous consultations, the rules could be implemented from 2027 if the legislation approves this year, time reported.

Housing builders who have had the task of complying with the 1.5 million new houses are directed to this Parliament said that most of the houses in the United Kingdom have solar panels in the future.

“The new construction houses issue an average of a third of the carbon from an older property, saving the owners thousands of pounds in energy invoices,” said Steve Turner, executive director of the Federation of Housing Constructors, as the Times reported. “To comply with the increasingly challenging carbon reductions established by the government, we will see solar in most new houses, although it is not appropriate in each situation.”

Environmental activists welcomed the sun’s sunrise mandate for new houses.

“For too much, we have wasted the free energy that falls on the ceilings of the houses every day. Now, people live in new construction houses will save hundreds of pounds every year in their energy bills, thanks to this lover,” SIP-AND-AND-THRUGH THE GOODNMENT, GREENPEACE UK activist, as reported by the Guardian.
